Matt Richardson has over 30 years experience in the photography business. Having gained permission for commercial operations from the CAA, he now takes his camera into the air.

Matt lives in Sussex with his wife and two teenage boys, they travel extensively, exploring the world, but Matt’s passion for photography means he always has camera in his hand, of one type or another, ready to take that perfect shot.

Matt’s photography career started at school, taking and selling photographs of theatre productions and sports matches. This continued at university where he was also Picture Editor of the student newspaper. He set up and ran a photography programme for Chicago Youth Centers and later did an internship at The Guardian newspaper in London.

Following marriage and children, Matt pursued other careers until he discovered new opportunities with the advent of camera drones whereupon he trained and became certified as a commercial drone operator.
